RACHEL WEISZ'S OCTOBER 2008 VOGUE COVER, SIGNED TO MARTYN WITH THANKS "FOR THE SCULPTING AND THE GLOW"
"LET THERE BE LIGHT"
So reads Brad Pitt's entry in superfacialist Tracie Martyn's guest book. He's referring to that special time of day around 3:00 when sunshine streams in through the skylight, just-so, and fills the penthouse spa. Martyn's, silver Resculpting wand in hand, has been lifting and firming faces (and arms, and stomachs, and even bottoms) via lymphatic drainage and her own fiercely guarded muscle stimulating, mild current recipe for the last thirteen years. Two weeks after opening her new space which features six treatment rooms instead of four-the faithful, the familiar the wonderfully high cheeckboned and smooth necked, had already been by to pay homage. Kate Winslet, Lara Stone, Tory Burch, Linda Evangelista, Queen Noor.
"From Paris just to see you," reads Nicolas Ghesquiere's note. ("He's very handsome," says Martyn quietly.)
"Defying gravity, feeling fresh, every Tuesday with Tracie,"scribbles the famously surgery-free Diane Von Furstenberg. So that's how she does it." -Sarah Brown
