Tracie Martyn's name is behind most movie stars that have walked the red carpet many times over, helping celebrities from Kate Winslet and Sandra Bullock to Susan Sarandon and Brad Pitt to look their flawless best. Yes, even Brad Pitt! And let's throw in some rock stars, such as Madonna and Cyndi Lauper, and even wives of rock stars—former supermodel Patti Hansen, Yasmin Le Bon and Lara Stone (who is now a regular). The list truly goes on.
In her new ethereal penthouse setting on Fifth Avenue, N.Y.C., Tracie and her husband/business partner Marius Morariu had a vision for their home. It became a fairy-tale reality with the help of interior decorator Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz. With shimmering clear crystals placed throughout the walls, and sunlight beaming through sheer white curtains, this 3,500-square-foot loft features feathery chandeliers and lamps that seem to have their own personalities. Therapeutic LED lights continuously change shades in every treatment room, suggesting that you may possibly have arrived at heaven's gate! Heaven's facial gate, that is.
When entering Tracie's private treatment room, so vast and divinely white, with a touch of her signature lavender in lights, it seemed clear that I had just passed through the pearly gates.
As Tracie wrapped her soft sheets around me on her plush treatment bed, I felt an immediate sense of calmness, gazing up at her skylight while the color of amethyst illuminated her white walls and curtains. She gently cleaned my face with her wonderful Amla Purifying Cleanser (a deep cleanser that brightens and tones the skin), and followed with her state-of-the-art Crystal Free Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion machine, which cleanses the pores like no other (a sensation of your face being vacuumed) and reduces the appearance of fine lines, especially around the eye and mouth areas.
I then opted for Tracie's famous Resculpting Facial (the other being the Red Carpet Facial, highly requested by many celebrities, for obvious reasons) during which a Martyn-Morariu designed beauty machine called the Resculptor—an electric wand-like tool that emits mild electrical currents, lifting and firming the jawline and cheekbones, while also de-puffing the eyelids and undereye circles—was applied. I then received a collagen mask, which further tightened and plumped the skin. (At that point, I think I dozed off into somewhere far in the clouds.) Finally, Tracie topped the process off with her highly demanded Firming Serum for the face, and, I must say, I looked pretty darn great without even a stitch of makeup.
And while there, you must take advantage of the new Ruby Ray machine. It's a serious head-to-toe enlightenment, which works like a tanning bed but with only opposite, positive effects. There is zero downside to Ruby Ray, according to Tracie, and you will see optimum results after only a few sessions: skin-smoothing and -firming, an increase in elasticity, and even light therapy, for those who get the blues during winter months.
You should certainly follow it up at home with Tracie's new Resculpting Body Serum, which defies aging skin, and, if used in tandem with her Shakti Resculpting Body Cream, you will certainly see optimum results almost immediately. Be diligent and apply morning and night for bigger difference. Tracie Martyn undoubtedly feels good for the soul, because once you've entered heaven why would you ever want to leave?
